William E. "Ed" Landwer, Jr., a resident of South Beloit formerly of Fox Lake, passed away on July 5, 2013. He was born on July 26, 1961 in Waukegan to William and Virginia (nee Sander) Landwer, Sr.

He was an avid NASCAR fan and also enjoyed boating and snowmobiling.

Ed is survived by his wife, Diane (nee Duwe) of Fox Lake; his children, Bill Landwer of Spring Grove and Sarah Landwer of Ingleside; by his grandson, Giovanni; his siblings, Cindy (Patrick) Dunn of Silver Lake, WI and Doug (Terri) Landwer of Antioch; and by his friend Kathy Hoeksema.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother George.

Memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, July 16, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the K. K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd. Fox Lake. Interment will be private.
