William "Goat" Robert Klein, a lifelong resident of Ingleside, IL, passed away March 22, 2023.  William was born November 7, 1954, in Waukegan, IL, to Ralph and Eleanor (nee Barth) Klein.  William lived on Lincoln Avenue his entire life.  A gifted painter by trade, Goat also was an avid fisherman, loved reading, and nature in general.  Goat was a member of the Fox Lake Volunteer Fire Department for many years.  William was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Eleanor Klein; and brother, Ralph Klein.  William is survived by his sister, Donna Cureton; brothers, Edward (Sue) Klein and Steven M. (Margaret) Klein; sister-in-law, Melody Klein; as well as many nieces and nephews.  Services were private and a celebration of life is pending.
