William "Bill" D. Lewis, Sr.

William "Bill" D. Lewis, Sr., a long-time Lake County resident, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on January 24, 2015. He was born in Chicago on May 13, 1943 to William L. and Audrey A. (nee Wright) Lewis.

Bill loved fishing, skydiving and riding his motorcycle. He also loved to tinker in the garage and build items such as a cat perch for his furry friend, Natasha.

Bill will be deeply missed by his former wife, Patricia (nee Meyers) Lewis; his children, Amanda Lewis-Miculinich, Thomas C. Lewis II and William D. (Gabriela) Lewis, Jr.; grandchildren, Cristina, Charles, Rebecca, and Diana and by his siblings, Linda Kader, Kathy Gordon and Jimmy Riley; and by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Ruthie Mondrezejewski, Tommy Lewis, Sr. and Susie Kazlausky, his dear cat Boris, and by his parents.

Visitation will be Friday, January, 30 from 5 – 9 PM and resume on Saturday from 8:30 AM until the 10 AM funeral service at K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Antioch.
