Walter “Wally” John Nowak, 61, of Spring Grove, passed away July 28, 2026, at Froedert Hospital, Milwaukee, as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was born March 11, 1965, In Waukegan to Joseph and Mary Ann Nowak.
Wally had a huge heart and would help anyone in need. He was a master mechanic and had shops in Antioch and Kenosha. He enjoyed boating, snowmobiling, motorcycling, and being outdoors. Above all he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his mom, Mary Ann (nee Calamia); siblings, Joseph, Thomas, and Barbara; nieces and nephews Christina and Michelle Nowak, Gregory (Jackie) Gilley; great-nephews and nieces, Jonathan, Elijah, Katelynn, Dawson, Conner, Gracie, Donte, Aundraya, Javias; great-great niece, Makaiah; cousins, Carla, Jessica, Carl Jr., Heidi (Brett), Casey, and Kelli; his Wisconsin family, Widows Sons Masonic Riders; and his dog, Able.
Wally was preceded in death by his dad, Joseph “Papa Joe” Nowak; and niece Rebecca Gilley.
A celebration of Wally’s life will be held Sunday, August 23, at 1 p.m., at the 1903 Saloon, 11230 260th Ave., Trevor, WI 53179, 262-298-7005.
Wally gave the gift of life through organ donation.
