Virginia M. Ward, 79, of McHenry.
Born on November 1, 1932 in Chicago, IL to John & Anna (nee Gracious) Motroni. She married Edward F. Ward Jr. on January 2, 1957 in Maywood, IL.

Virginia was employed by Television Laboratories in Wauconda, IL for 25 years, then part-time for Fitzgerald's Genoa Junction Restaurant in Genoa City, WI for more than 20 yrs. For the last 5 years she had been fully retired.
During the last 20 years, every summer and some holiday seasons, she loved to travel to spend cherished time with her daughter & grand-daughters. Her last trip was in June of 2010, she drove with her daughter from IL to WA to celebrate both of her grand-daughters graduations from middle school & high school. She spent 3 months in WA with them before her & her daughter drove back to IL together.

Virginia is survived by her loving daughter Sally Jo (Scott) Freund,dear grand-daughters Stevonie & Danielle Freund, Kennewick , WA; beloved siblings: Philip (Joan) Motroni, Fox Lake, IL; Molly Ann (Mick) Mesmer, Clinton,WI; Rosemary (Norm) Even, Richmond, IL and many dear nieces, nephews and other relatives survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, her grandson & her parents.
