Virginia L. (nee Peters) Starostovic, a long time resident of Spring Grove, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 5, 2012 in Pleasant Prarie WI. She was born June 20, 1936, in Chicago, IL, to Albert and Harriet (nee Grines) Peters.
She loved to play bingo, put puzzles of all kinds together, loved animals, was an avid parade-goer, and especially enjoyed spending time with her loving grandchildren.
Virginia will be deeply missed by her dear children, Laura (David) Smid of Richmond, Lonnie (Dena) Starostovic of Johnsburg; her beloved grandchildren, Matthew and Ryan Smid, Samantha Jewell and Dylan Starostovic. Other dear relatives and friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Robert Starostovic, her brother Robert Peters, and by her parents,.
A Memorial gathering for family and friends will be held Wednesday, Feb. 8, from 1 - 3 p.m. at Dockers Restaurant, 33 West Grand Ave., Fox Lake.
Interment will be private
