Veronica "Ronnie" Behnke

Veronica "Ronnie" Behnke, a resident of Spring Grove for most of her life, lately of McHenry, passed away on December 17, 2012. She was born on May 19, 1916 in Rietbrock, WI to Albert and Hatie (nee Jakubowski) Stencil.
She was a past member of American Legion Auxiliary Women of the Moose and a former employee of the Fox Lake Ace Hardware Store. She was proud of her needleworks and enjoyed crafts.
Veronica will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews and many other friends that also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Behnke; her parents; and by 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
Service and interment will be private.
