Valerie Veness (nee Lundin), 48, of Round Lake, passed away unexpectedly Friday, August 5, 2016

She was born in Sacramento, CA to Richard and Deloris (nee Segovia) Lundin on July 28, 1968.  Valerie married Wesley Veness October 21, 1995.

Valerie, known by her big, bright beautiful smile, loved her job as a pharmacy technician at Jewel in Fox Lake, and loved spending time and living in Hawaii.

In addition to her husband, Wesley, Valerie is survived by her children, Anthony, Alyssa, and Alizabeth Veness all of Round Lake; parents, Richard and Deloris Lundin of Benicia, CA; sister, Joanie Edwards (nee Lundin) of Colorado Springs; and many extended family members and friends spread out all over the country.

The visitation will be from 3-8 p.m.,Thursday, August 11, at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.

The funeral service will be Friday, August 12, at 10 a.m., at the funeral home.  Inurnment will be private.
