Tove Fruhstuck (nee Schnell), 84, of McHenry, peacefully passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022, surrounded by her loving family at Northwestern Medicine McHenry Hospital.  She was born December 27, 1937, in Copenhagen, Denmark, to the late Ellen Margrethe Josepfine (nee Hansen) and Magnus Sofus Pauli Schnell.

Tove loved to cook—especially Danish Fare, tend to her flower garden, and above all spend time with her family.

She was the beloved mom of Gail (Mark) Fruhstuck Morey; far mor to Matt Fruhstuck and mor mor to Amanda Morey; and further survived by former daughter-in-law, Cindy (nee Kennedy) Fruhstuck McDowall; and Glen's longtime-love, Teresa Bausch.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Helge Fruhstuck on October 22, 2020; beloved son, Glen Fruhstuck, on March 7, 2020; and her best friend, Vinna Drucks, on July 30, 2004, who was like a sister to her.
