Tonya Lynn (Keel) Ridge died unexpectedly in Champaign, IL on May 7, 2020, at the age of 42.

Tonya grew up in Lake Villa and graduated from Antioch Comm. High School in 1995. She attended Southern Illinois University – Carbondale and graduated with degrees in both Biological Sciences (2000) and Microbiology (2002). Tonya was a Veterinary Research Scientist at the University of Illinois for many years. Most recently she was enjoying life as a bartender at Jupiter's in Champaign.

Tonya is survived by her parents, Ray and Joanne Keel; siblings, Timothy, Lindsey, Alexander, and Mary Keel; niece, Brooklyn; and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Tonya was preceded in death by her husband, Nick Ridge, and sister, Amy Keel.

Tonya absolutely loved life and had a great impact on those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed.

Due to COVID 19, services will be private. The family plans to hold a celebration of life at a later date.
