SUSAN K. THANDUPURAKAL
Susan K. Thandupurakal of Fox Lake Visitation for Susan Kay Thandupurakal (nee Stuttle), 49, formerly of Zion, will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18, and from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, at K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Road, Fox Lake. She was born Dec. 30, 1959, in Libertyville. Susan, a loving wife, mother, sister and friend, passed away at home Dec. 16, 2009, after along courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her father, Clinton G. Stuttle; mother, Helen S. Stuttle; and brother, Scott Stuttle. Susan is survived by her loving husband, Dr. Thomas Thandupurakal; beloved son, Sean Thandupurakal; brother, Jeff Stuttle; mother-in-law, Mrs. Varghese; sisters-in-law, Joyce Stuttle, Usha Joseph and Nisha Thomas; nephew, Scott Stuttle; and her adoring nieces. Susan dedicated much of her time to community and charity work and will be missed by her family and friends, who will remember her loving, generous, and strong spirit. She was a longtime employee of the Midwestern Regional Medical Center and retired as the director of Human Resources. In lieu of flowers, the family graciously asks that donations be made to the Susan Thandupurakal Scholarship Fund, 1310 South U.S. Highway 12, Fox Lake, IL 60020, for students dedicated to helping their community and charities.
