Susan Jean Stymacks, 67, of Northbrook, passed away Friday, April 7, 2023, at home surrounded by family.  She was born October 8, 1955, in Evanston, to the late Raymond and Marilyn Stymacks.

Sue was a CNA at Village of Victory Lakes, Lindenhurst, for 13 years. She was an avid traveler who especially enjoyed cruises.  Sue was a lover of Diet Coke, General Hospital, and working in healthcare.  Above all she was a phenomenal mom and grandma.

Survivors include her son, Stephen (Debbie) Stymacks of Northbrook; daughter, Nina Stymacks of Fox Lake; granddaughters, Haylee Myers and Anikah Giuliani of Fox Lake; grandsons, Jeremiah Stymacks of Niles, Andrew Stymacks of Grayslake, and Maximus, Drake, Reese, and Rocco Marquez of Northbrook; sisters, Judith Eldredge of Oak Park, Carol Cutkosky of Cumming, GA, Kim Snyder of Hampshire, and Jayme Owens of Grand Island, NE; brothers, Michael Stymacks of Seattle, WA, Mark Snyder of Aurora, and Jeff Snyder of Dekalb.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond (Irene) Stymacks and Marilyn (George) Eldredge; and aunt, Jeanne Fridell.

Visitation Tuesday, April 11, from 4-8 p.m., with a service at 7 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals & Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.  Urn burial will be private in Grant Cemetery, Ingleside.
