Susan J. Carl, 71, of Spring Grove, passed away peacefully at home on October 1, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 1, 1947 in Chicago to John and Patricia (nee Ruane) Carl. Susan is survived by her sister-in-law, Donna Carl; niece, Melissa (Brandon) De Vries; great niece, Abigail Hermes; friend, Linda (Joel) Ragland, and many aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her parents, and beloved brother, John C. Carl, Jr., who passed away on September 5, 2018. Memorial services and interment will be private.
