Stanley DiDomenico

Stanley DiDomenico, of Ingleside, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2014. He was born October 22, 1930 in Chicago to Flostano and Maria (nee Tiritelli) DiDomenico. Stanley was a generous, genuine and kind person who was an avid Cubs fan and loved The Three Stooges. Stanley served as a mechanic in the Air Force and then later worked as a mechanic for American Airlines, where he retired after 35 years. He later became a member of American Legion, Post 703 in Fox Lake. He also enjoyed light classical music, opera and theater. Stanley will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 60 years, Josephine (nee Russell) DiDomenico; his sons Stanley Jr. (Heidi) and Paul (Marta) DiDomenico; his granddaughter Alissa DiDomenico; and by his godson James Zorn.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda DiDomenico; his parents and his 5 siblings.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 12, from 4 – 8 p.m. and resume on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. funeral service at K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake. Interment at St. Bede Cemetery, Ingleside.
