Stanislaw "Stanley" Nowosad, 75, passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2010. He was born on May 10, 1934 to Piotr and Jadwiga (nee Janowska) Nowosad.

Stanley was a resident of Chicago since 1965, born in Poland and immigrated from Germany. Stanley was a machinist by trade, formerly employed with Major Corp and Scott Abbott. He was also an avid Pigeon Racer and a member of a Pigeon Racers Club. He enjoyed working and fixing things around the house and his family and home were everything to him.

Stanley will be deeply missed by his wife, Gisela (nee Wolfertz) Nowosad of Chicago, his children, Barbara (Fiance Darral Donzel) Nowosad of Fox Lake; Peter Nowosad of Oak Park, IL; Bernard Nowosad of Northlake Park, IL, brothers Thadius "Ted" (Janina) Nowosad of Chicago, IL; Leopold (Wladyslawa) Nowosad of St. Charles, IL; and sister-in-law Renate Nowosad of Berwyn.

Stanley was preceded in death by his parents and twin brother, Eugene Nowosad.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 28th at K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home, The Chapel on the Lake, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Road, Fox Lake, one block west of Rt. 12, from 11:00 A.M to 12:30 P.M with a service to take place at the funeral home at 12:30 P.M. Interment will be private.
