Sophia Carson age 93
of Ingleside since 1992; formerly of Chicago. Will be deeply missed by her children: Bruce Carson, Patricia (Michael) Wild and Susan (David) Vegas; grandchildren: Connie, Charlene and Christy Carson,Dave Vegas, Cyndy (Jeff) Greiff, and Melissa(Ross) Vegas, Charlie (Sylvia) Wild, Cory (Katie) Wild and Andrew Wild; by great grandchildren: Samantha, Desiree, and Owen Greiff, Carson, Mariah and Stacey Wild;
by her sister: Aline Pofhal and Virginia Vandemoon; nieces, nephews and others survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Carson in 1984; by her sons: Wayne and Jerry; by other brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held Monday, Jan. 19, 2009 from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at K. K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd, Fox Lake (1 block west of Rte. 12, 1/2 block north of Grand Ave). Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Suzette Swords officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Chicago, IL.
