Shirley Dahlstrom (nee Reiss) age 72
A resident of Round Lk. Beach, Il. for the past 22 years, formerly of Chicago died Sunday Feb. 15, 2009 at home. She was born on June 13, 1936 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Fran W. and Pearl Marie (nee Clemenz) Reiss and was united in marriage to John Thomas Dahlstrom. She was employed as a manager for bowling centers, and had belonged to the nature conservancy . She had enjoyed gardening, plants, cats, birds and spending time outdoors and with her family and friends.
She will be dearly missed by: Her children: John T. Dahlstrom of Il. Julia "Julie" (Cindy Siciliano) Dahlstrom of Chicago, Il. Grandchildren: Sgt. William Joseph Haskins Jr. serving in the U.S. Army in Afghanistan, Eric, Jeremy, and Lauren Haskins, Claire and John T. Dahlstrom III and Timothy E. Dahlstrom.

By nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John Thomas Dahlstrom on Jan. 30, 2009 and by her son Paul Jerome Dahlstrom.
Visitations will be on Wednesday Feb. 18, 2009 from 11:00 - 1:00 p.m. at the K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home 12 N. Pistakee Lk. Rd. Fox Lake, Il. (The Chapel On The Lake - www.kkhamsherfuneralhome.com ). Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Wed. at the Funeral Home with Deacon Larry Spohr officiating. Burial will follow at the Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville, IL.
