Scott D. Schroeder Scott D. Schroeder, 56, a resident of Dundee and Lake Villa, died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at the Alden Terrace of McHenry. He was born on Jan. 15, 1953, in Elgin, to Duane and Rose (nee Hamilton) Schroeder. He attended Immanuel Lutheran School in Dundee and graduated from Antioch Community High School. He was a singer in the Oedipus Complex band, a member of the NIMRA motorcycle club and a gifted artist, who enjoyed woodworking, model building and home construction. He lived a full life riding his Harley, scuba and sky diving and fishing. He was formerly employed with R.C.A., G.E. and most recently with Skokie Valley T.V. as a purchasing agent. He will be greatly missed by his mother, Rose M. Jones of Ingleside; sisters, Lynn (Jim) Kretsch of Lake Villa and Diane (Ed) Galanopoulos of Ingleside; and his niece, Christine Galanopoulos of Ingleside. He was preceded in death by his father.
