Sarah Jane Christie (nee O'Steen) 70

A long time resident of Ingleside, formerly of Dresden, TN, passed away May 6, 2010.
She was born February 14, 1940 in Tennessee to Brooks and Dorothy (nee Rawls) O'Steen
Sarah loved to spend time with her family. She enjoyed crocheting, traveling, lighthouses, trees with character and things that sparkled.

She is survived by her children James (Julie) Christie, Christina (David) Fry, Sheri (Michael) Cooper, her grandchildren Danny & Brian Fry, Tyler & Eric Christie, Megan & Matthew Cooper, her great grandchildren Keirsten & Sara Fry and her siblings Jerry & Kevin O'steen and Jenny Tyler.

Sarah was preceded in death by her husband John Christie with whom she married in 1968, her brother John O'Steen and her parents.

Visitation will be Monday May 10, 2010 from 4-8 pm at K. K. Hamsher Funeral Home 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd. Fox Lake, IL 60020 and Services Tuesday May 11th at 10 am
Internment following at Memorial Gardens Cemetery Arlington Heights, IL.
