Sandra Wells, age 72, born December 17, 1943 in Chicago, Ill to Clinton and Nell (DeJulius) Richardson, passed away on August 25, 2016 at her home. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 29, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a funeral service Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake, IL. Interment at Grant Cemetery. Sandra worked 27 years as a letter carrier and spent 7 years in the 416th Engineer Command in Chicago for the Army Reserve. She enjoyed fishing all over the United States and Canada, wildlife viewing, animal protection, gardening, and traveling including Africa, Egypt & Australia. Survivors include her husband James; children Marc and Maureen Daniels; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
