Sandra Plaiss

Sandra Plaiss,75, a resident of Fox Lake, formerly of Chicago, IL and Doniphan, MO, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2015 She was born August 15, 1939 in Chicago to Walter and Cecilia (nee Lakoma) Majka.

Sandra will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 53 years, Charles Plaiss; her daughters, Charmaine (Peter) Bychowski, Cherie (Wayne) Finlayson, Carla (Michael) Koch and Charlotte Jensen; her 11 grandchildren and by her 5 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Robert Majka.

Visitation will be Friday, May 8, 2015 from 5 until 9 PM and resume on Saturday, May 9 from 12 Noon until prayers at 1 PM at K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake. Funeral Mass will be Saturday at 2 PM at St. Bede Catholic Church, 36455 N. Wilson Rd., Ingleside. Interment private.
