Sandra D. Petrasko, 72, of Fox Lake, unexpectedly passed away Sunday, May 5, 2019, at Northwestern Medicine McHenry Hospital.  She was born April 2, 1947, in Chicago.

Sandra is survived by her loving companion, Mike Born of Fox Lake; was the best damn mother whoever walked the face of the earth to sons, Richard (Sherri) Kusek of Antioch, John Kusek of Mercer, Wisconsin, and Steven (Michelle) Kusek Sr. of Antioch; was the beloved grandmother of Laura Kusek, Dylan Czerlanis, Ashley (Dereck) Catalan, Steven Kusek Jr., and Kaitlyn Kusek; and the devoted great-grandmother of Jack Catalan; she is further survived by sister, Sue Ferrand of Indiana; and former husband, Richard Kusek, Sr.

Visitation Saturday, May 11, from 3 p.m. until the celebration of Sandra's life at 7 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.
