Ruth Kohl, a resident of Round Lake, formerly of Fox Lake, Watseka and Plant City, FL , passed away peacefully on June 21, 2012. She was born on Jauary 15, 1918 in Steger, Illinois to Chester and Mabel (nee Lannon) Peter.

She enjoyed traveling, working the Florida Flea Markets, sewing, crocheting, reading, dancing and gardening.

Ruth will be deeply missed by her dear children, Betty (Robert) Niemi of Ingleside; Kenneth (Maryann Wille) Kohl of McHenry and Larry (Joan) Kohl of Bremen, Ga.; and by her 15 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold H. Kohl, her daughter, Donna Tonyan Moog, her brother Harvey Peter and her parents.
