Roger W. Dahl, 81, of Fox Lake, formerly of Long Lake and Chicago, peacefully passed away Monday, August 3, 2020, at JourneyCare, Barrington, with his family at his side.  He was born in Akron, Ohio, September 6, 1938, to the late Harold and May (nee McAdoo) Dahl.

Roger was honorably discharged from the US Army and went on to become a dental technician, working with his dad at Dahl Dental Laboratory on Madison Street in Chicago.  He was a lifelong car enthusiast.

Survivors include his sister, Gwen Pearson; children, Mark (Robbie) Dahl, Jodeen (Jason) Lord, Keri (Russell) Zander, and Amanda (Darren Ross) Dahl; granddaughter, Raeann (Steven) Martin; grandson, Jared Lord; great-granddaughter, Avaline Martin; and former wife, Judy Kosowski Dahl.

A Celebration of Roger's life will be scheduled for a future date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Roger's name may be made to St. Stephen Lutheran Church, 1155 Hillside Ave., Antioch, IL 60002.
