Robert L. Leff, 64, of Fox Lake, IL, passed away unexpectedly and suddenly, Wednesday, December 9, 2015, peacefully in his home.

He was born July 26, 1951, in Elkhorn, WI, to the late Leonard and Dorothy (nee Lee) Leff.

Bob had a love and need to always see the brighter side in everything in life. He was always the one who could make you laugh no matter what. Bob always enjoyed fishing—especially with his sons, Brian and Brian, and fishing partner, Chuck—and being the best Grampy and father ever. Bob had such an unconditional love for his late wife, Linda. Over the years he made his journeys in life alongside Linda from Illinois to Arizona to Nevada. He experienced many joys with his family and friends throughout his lifetime, and he touched so many hearts along the way.

Bob worked for Intermatic, Inc. for over 30 years, and served in the Army during Vietnam in Korea.

Survivors include his children, Brian Leff of Genoa City, Charissa (Steve) Davidovici of Miami Beach, FL, and Brian (Kerry) Caez of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Brooklynn and Gracie Davidovici, and Finny Caez; siblings, Barb (Jim) Osborne of Lake Geneva, WI, and Laurence (Lorraine) of Flagstaff, AZ; his beloved dog, Iris; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Leff, whom he married October 21, 1989; his former wife, Pamela Leff; his parents, Leonard and Dorothy Leff; and brother, Roger Leff.

He may now lay in peace and be once again together with Linda.

The memorial visitation will be Thursday, December 17, from 10 a.m. until the celebration of Bob's life at 11 a.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.  Inurnment will be private.
