Robert "Bobby" Charles Goehrke age 69
A former resident of Fox Lake, Il.most recently of Indiana died Monday Sept. 7, 2009 in Elkhart Indiana. He was born on October 23, 1939 in Chicago to William A. and Helen B. (nee Henke) Goehrke, and was united in marriage to Sandra Martorano on July 13, 1963.
He was the President of Imperial Fabricators in Chicago, and spent many happy hours boating and fishing on the Chain O Lakes. He enjoyed cooking and baking, and was known for his Apple Cake recipe ( which he passed down to his daughter Lisa), but loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his beloved grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed by: His children: Nick Goehrke of Schaumburg, Il., Lisa (Todd) Yeager of Elkhart, IN and Danielle (Brian) Capaci of Huntley, Il. By his 8 grandchildren and his brother William (Rosalie) Goehrke of St. Charles, Il.
Visitations will be from 5-9 p.m. on Friday Sept. 11, 2009 at the K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home 12 N. Pistakee Lk. Rd. Fox Lake, Il. 60020 (The Chapel On The Lake) www.kkhamsherfuneralhome.com and again on Sat. from 9:00 a.m. thru time of the 10:00 a.m. Prayer service. Interment will follow at approx. 12:30 p.m. graveside at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, Il.
