Ricky John Chapman, 64, a lifelong resident of Chicago, passed away May 15, 2026, at The Pearl of Rolling Meadows. He was born December 22, 1961, in Chicago, to the late Robert and Catherine (nee DeNight), Chapman.

Ricky was a devoted caregiver to his mom, Catherine, until her passing. He was a longtime member of Bethel Community Church on Foster Avenue, Chicago and an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan.

Survivors include his siblings, Kathleen (the late James) Paulsen and Bob Chapman; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Ricky was preceded in death by brother, David Chapman.
