Richard J. Stanislawski, 80, of Wauconda, formerly of Niles, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington. He was born on April 3, 1937 in Chicago to the late Chester and Stephanie (Nicpon) Stanislawski. On January 13, 1963 in Chicago, Rich married the love of his life, Mary Ann Triolo. Rich was a US Army Veteran and a member of Transfiguration Catholic Church for the past 15 years. He leaves to cherish his loving memory, devoted wife of 55 years, Mary Ann Stanislawski; son, John R. (Kathy) Stanislawski; daughter, Shari (Michael) Hickey; grandchildren, Samantha Hickey and Jacob Stanislawski; brothers, John (Theresa) Stanislawski, Wayne (Susan) Stanislawski and Edward (JoAnne) Stanislawski; sister-in-law, Nancy (Ron) Newman; many nieces and nephews, and his companion, his Yorkie-Poo, Gracie.

Mass will take place on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Transfiguration Catholic Church, 316 W. Mill St., Wauconda, IL 60084 with Rev. Fr. Marcin officiating. Visitation is Wednesday, April 4, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals & Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake, IL. Burial will be private.
