Richard R. Richford Sr., of Fox Lake for 37 years, passed away on January 18, 2013. He was born on August 17, 1948 in Chicago to William and Frieda (nee Weichmann) Richford.
Rick's favorite past time was golfing, which he frequently did with his sons, family and friends. Rick was also a long distance truck driver and traveled for 40 years.
Rick will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Donna; his dear children Richard Jr. (Debi), Ronald (Carrie) and Stephan (Jamie) Richford; his grandchildren, Amber, Sara, Mikayla, Tyler, Kathryn, Emily, Ron Jr. and Jack; his brothers, Fred (Nancy) Howe, Michael (Dawn) and Christopher Fertonardo. He was a loving brother-in-law and uncle to many.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Stephan Howe.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 22, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and resume on Wed. from 8:30 a.m. until the time of prayers at 9 a.m. at the K. K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd. Fox Lake. Funeral mass will be Wed. at 10 a.m. at St. Bede Catholic Church, 36455 N. Wilson Rd., Ingleside, IL. Interment will be private.
