Richard J. Perham, a long time resident of Lake County, passed away on June 27, 2013. He was born on August 10, 1937 in Chicago to Edward and Helen (nee Fijalek) Perham.
He was a veteran of the United States Army where he served in the Korean War. He was an avid reader and especially enjoyed reading about military history. He also enjoyed working on airplanes, avionics and guns.
Richard will be deeply missed by his loving girlfriend of 16 years, Carol Bulava; his dear children, Michael, Eric (Bo Kyung) and Cris (Rina) Perham; his 5 grandchildren; his siblings, Donald, Patricia, Bernadine and Gloria; by his cats Taz and Kiki. Many other loving friends and relatives also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services and interment will be private.
