Richard Charles Kamien age 80

A resident of Spring Grove ,Il. for the past 4 years, formerly of Chicago, Il. died Thurs. June 25, 2009 at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, Il. He was born on July 27, 1928 in Chicago to John and Ellen (nee Mc Govern) Kamien and served in the U.S. Navy during W.W. II . He was a truck driver and a member of the Teamsters union Local #734 and #705, and he and his wife were the former owners of Twin Lakes Triangle Tavern and Banquet Hall. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, golf, and was an avid Chicago Blackhawks and Cubs fan.

He will be greatly missed by his wife: Betty (nee Ross ), children Linda Borowiec, Doreen (John) Engebretsen, and Ken Kamien. By his 6 grandchildren , 6 great grandchildren, and
his brother Donald Kamien.
He was preceded in death by his son Richard, grandson Jeffery, sister Barbara, brothers Eddie and John , and by his parents.

Private burial services will take place on Tuesday at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Il.
