Richard Clarence Flood, a longtime resident of Chicago, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2012. He was born on October 6, 1958 in Chicago to Robert and Darlene (nee Johnson) Flood.
He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed boating, wave running and playing his guitar. He also loved to sing karaoke and ride his motorcycle.
Richard will be deeply missed by his loving mother, Darlene, his son Todd, his brothers, James (Sheryl) and Robert "Bobby" Flood, by his nieces and nephews, Jamie, Stephanie and JR, and by his loving friend Lynda Hervas.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Memorial visitation will be held Thursday, January 3, 2013, from 10 AM until the 11:30 am memorial service at K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake, IL. Interment will be private.
