Raymond "Ray" J. Rappe, 59, unexpectedly passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at Northwestern Medicine McHenry Hospital.  He was born April 7, 1961, in Woodstock, to Raymond A. and Joanne (nee Larson) Rappe.

Ray is survived by his son, Dalton Rappe of Fox Lake; mother, Joanne, of Ingleside; siblings, Michael (fiancée Anjala Lagenour) of McHenry and Tamara (Brian) Thompson of Moore Haven, FL; nieces and nephews, Amber Rappe of Round Lake, Zach and Emma Rappe of Richmond, Cailee Janecek of McHenry, and Kelsie and Brandon Thompson of Moore Haven, FL; and grandnephew, Hunter Ray Rossow of Round Lake.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Ray; and grandparents, Margaret and William Larson and Albert and Flossie Rappe.

Funeral services will be private.
