Raymond G. Nehmer Jr. A funeral Mass for Raymond G. Nehmer Jr., 81, a lifetime resident of Long Lake and Ingleside, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, at St. Bede Catholic Church, 36455 N. Wilson Road, Ingleside. Interment will follow in Grant Cemetery (off Molidor Road), Ingleside. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, at K. K. Hamsher Funeral Home, Ltd., 12 N. Pistakee Lake Road, Fox Lake. Born in Oak Park, Ill., June 12, 1928, to Raymond G. Sr. and Margaret (nee McAdam) Nehmer, he died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009, at Paradise Park Assisted Living in Fox Lake, surrounded by his family. Raymond was a longtime member of St. Bede Catholic Church in Ingleside. He was a former longtime employee with Ricketts Chevrolet and Ray Chevrolet in Fox Lake for a combined 54 years of employment. He also worked for some time as an auto parts manager in maintenance and in dealer trading. He will be dearly missed by his children, James (Tina Goglin) Nehmer of Beach Park, Mary Ellen (Michael) Fick of Johnsburg, Lisa (Don) Hatfield of McHenry and Chris (Frank) Muller of Florida; grandchildren, Kary and Adam Muller, Jeremy (Amanda) Hatfield, Troy (Chantal) Hatfield, Brandt (Sarah) Fick, Breanna Fick, Justin and Sarah Nehmer and Teagen Caswell; his great-grandchildren, Hannah, Jordan, Hayden and Alysha; and his brother, Bruce (Audrey) Nehmer of Carol Stream. He was preceded in death by his wife, MaryAnn (nee Brell), on Dec. 28, 1994. In lieu of flowers, memorials for St. Bede's Building Fund, appreciated. For more information, 847 587-2100
