Raymond E. Colander, 86, of Lincolnwood, died Monday, July 11, 2016.  Born February 25, 1930, in Chicago, he served in the Army, received his PhD in Humanities from Northwestern University, and was a Professor of Humanities at Kennedy King College.  Survivors include his wife, Diane; sons, John, David, and Michael; granddaughter, Jennifer; and brother, William.  He was preceded in death by parents, Carl and Aletha; and brothers, Jack and Charles.  Private services will be held.
