Peggy E. Jones (nee Henkel), 58, of Ingleside, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, June 9, 2017, at Centegra Hospital, McHenry.

Born in Chicago, May 3, 1959, Peggy grew up in Lake Zurich and was a 1977 graduate of Lake Zurich High School.  She loved bird watching, boating, cooking, and entertaining her family and friends.  She was looking forward to her upcoming vacation in Mexico with her family.  Peggy was an awesome mother, daughter, and sister.

Survivors include her children, Jason, Marissa, and Brittany Jones; father, Harold Henkel; sisters, Linda (James) Schuler and Julie Austin; her dog, Teddy Boo; and many nieces and nephews.

Peggy was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia "Ginny" Henkel, in 2001.

The memorial visitation will be Sunday, June 11, from 1 p.m. until the celebration of Peggy's life at 2 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.
