Pauline "Paula" Jean Cerny (nee Krasny), 70, of Spring Grove, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at JourneyCare Hospice, Barrington.

She was born November 18, 1945, in Ingleside, to the late John and Irene (nee Sawchak) Krasny.  Paula married Anton "Tony" Cerny on October 12, 1968.

Paula worked as an Executive Secretary for Milwaukee Road headquarters in Chicago, Volkswagen of Lincolnshire, and retired from Rustoleum in Vernon Hills.  She loved getting her hair styled, manicures, pedicures, and having lunch with her best friends.

Survivors include her husband, Tony; sister-in-law, Diane (Jack) Frost of Fox Lake; nieces, Jacque (Jim) Spohr of Ingleside and Debbie (Keith) Olsen of McHenry; grandniece and grandnephews, Delanie Olsen, Garrett Olsen, Austin James (Daniella) Spohr, and Brent Thomas Spohr; and several cousins.

A celebration of Paula's life will be held at a later date.
