Patti Boles Eckert, 69, a longtime resident of Fox Lake, passed away peacefully, Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Victory Lakes, Lindenhurst.  She was born August 4, 1951, in Chicago, to the late Lee and Dorothy (nee Kiersch) Boles.

A 1969 graduate of Grant Community High School, Patti went on to have a successful career as a service manager for A&P Grocery Stores.  She also worked for 30 years, with her brother Bob, at Hello Folks in Fox Lake.

Patti was a lover of animals, especially cats, dogs, and birds.  She enjoyed garage sales, playing games on her computer (especially card games), watching the Hallmark channel, and going on trips with Bernie On the Go and Grant Township to Potawatomi Casino.

Survivors include her siblings, Lee (the late Judy) Boles of Eureka, Donna (Tom) Lill of Lake Villa, and Bob (Cindy) Boles of Spring Grove; nephews and nieces, Jeff (Celeste) Boles, Michael (Cheri) Boles, Gigi Boles, Christopher (Jackie) Lill, Michael Lill, Misty (Mark) Skala, and Brandan Boles; and many great nieces, nephews, and friends.

To honor Patti's wishes, her cremains will be spread in the Gulf Stream from Florida.  There will be no services.
