Nancy L. Nystrom born July 25, 1937 in Waukegan to Newton and Lillian (nee Klemola) Engstrom
Passed away peacefully, February 19, 2011 in McHenry.
Nancy retired from Outboard Marine Corporation and also from Abbott Park in Gurnee. She was the Grant Township Clerk, loved dogs & cats, an avid gardener, and an antique collector.
Nancy will be sorely missed by her dear son, Bret (Debbie) Nystrom; cherished grand children, Nicole and Olivia Nystrom; loving siblings, Newton "Dan" Engstrom and Marianne Hanson Mavis; her dear nieces, Ingrid Hanson-Popp, Holly Pisors; nephew, Mark Hanson and many other dear relatives and friends survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 24, from 3 p.m. until the 6:30 p.m. service with Pastor Wayne Christensen officiating at the K. K. Hamsher Funeral Home ("The Chapel on the Lake") 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd. (1 blk West of rte. 12,
