Mike Atchison, 60, of Ingleside, unexpectedly passed away Friday, February 25, 2022, at Northwestern Medicine McHenry Hospital.  He was born December 7, 1961, in Chicago, to the late James and Janice (nee Kurda) Atchison.

Mike grew up in Bull Valley and went to McHenry East High School, graduating from McHenry West High School.  He went on to found his own business, Jester Technologies, in Spring Grove.

Mike enjoyed spending time with his family—especially his granddaughter, Lily, and German Shepherd, Willow.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Debbie (nee Benes); daughters, Jessie (Chris Geier) Atchison, Katie (Eli Losoff) Atchison, and Shelby Atchison; granddaughter, Lily Geier; siblings, Bruce Atchison, Janice (the late Rick) Creighton, and Tracy Atchison; brother-in-law, Steven (Eloise) Benes; several nieces; and many friends.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his father- and mother-in-law, Charles and Lillian Benes.

The celebration of Mike's life will be private.
