Michael D. Emerick

Michael D. Emerick, a resident of Fox Lake, formerly of Ottawa, IL and New York, passed away on April 24, 2014. He was born on January 4, 1968 in Niagara Falls, New York to David and Shirley (nee Kirby) Emerick.

Michael was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Lake County. He enjoyed golfing and was an avid fan of Green Bay Packers, Chicago Cubs and Blackhawks. Michael also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Michael will be deeply missed by his father, David (Donna) Emerick of Ottawa, IL; his aunt, Kathy (Dan) Savage of Rochester, NY; his uncles Richard (Jan) Kirby of Hamilton, NY; Jeremiah Kirby of North Lawrence, NY and Robert Emerick of Palm Harbor, FL. Many loving nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley in 1981 and by his grandparents, Robert (Grace) Emerick and Richard (Mary) Kirby.

Memorial Service and interment will be held at a later date.
