Mary Ann Preidis, a long time resident of Fox Lake, formerly of Minocqua, WI, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2012. She was born on July 29, 1925 in Chicago to Stanley and Ann (nee Franskvicius) Arlauskas.
She was a member of St. Bede Catholic Church in Ingleside and enjoyed oil painting and being a mother. She also enjoyed gardening and was a member of Woodland Green Garden Club.
Mary will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 64 years, Ted Preidis; her children, Judith Gentry of AZ; Morgan (Glenn) Rosamond of TX; Patricia (Mike) Long of Wauconda; Thomas (Peggy) Preidis of McHenry and Richard Preidis of WI; her 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Tim Preidis, her parents and her sister, Stella Maezes.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 29, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. and resume on Mon. from 8:30 a.m until time of prayers a 9 a.m. at the K. K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake. Funeral Mass will be Monday, July 30, at 10 a.m at St. Bede Catholic Church, 36455 N Wilson Rd. in Ingleside. Interment will be at Grant Cemetery.
