Mary Piff

Mary Piff, 90, a long time resident of Fox Lake, formerly of Spring Grove and Lake Villa, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2014. She was born on March 5, 1924 in Chicago to John and Virginia (nee Dugo) Divita.

Mary enjoyed watching movies, dancing, doll collecting, cooking and most of all spending time with her family.

Mary will be deeply missed by her loving children, Linda (Larry) Alfred, Carol Needham and John (Beth) Piff; grandchildren Craig, Todd (Gail) Alfred, Jill (Gabe) Robbins, Kyle (Jen) Needham, Michael and Stephen Piff; great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Lucy Alfred, Gwenyth and Luke Robbins and Van Needham; brothers John and Joseph Divita. Many nieces, nephews and friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Rose Chirchirillo, Sam, Peter and Carlo Divita.

Visitation will be held, Friday, January 2, from 4 -8 PM and resume on Saturday from 8:30 until the 9:30 AM funeral service at K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake. Entombment at All Saints Cemetery, 700 N. River Rd. Des Plaines.  All are invited to meet at the cemetery by 12 PM.
