Marion A. Volkmar, a resident of Burlington, WI for 18 years, formerly of Wooster Lake, Ingleside for 40 years, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2012. She was born on March 28, 1913 in Chicago to Frank and Bertha (nee Sokolowski) Oles.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Pell Lake, WI. She was also a longtime Chicago Cubs fan.
Marion will be deeply missed by her dear sons, William F. Volkmar of Millard, WI and Ronald (Jackie) Volkmar of Ingleside; her grandchildren, Deborah (Tom)O'Halleran, Bill (Stacy) Volkmar, Donald Volkmar, Jennifer Roble and Robert Volkmar, Kevin (Caroline) Volkmar, Sandy (Ted) Beskow, Keith (Kelly) Volkmar, Sherri (Dave) Durdla, Kory (Michelle) Volkmar and Suzie (fiancAC. Adam) Volkmar, by 16 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Volkmar, her parents and brothers.
Visitation will be held Saturday, June 9, from 9 AM until the 11
AM service at the K. K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake. Interment will be at Grant Cemetery, Ingleside.
