Marion J. Vallango (nee Stanzel), 75, of Fox Lake, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016, at University of Chicago Hospital.

Born November 14, 1940, in Connellsville, PA, Marion married Anthony J. Vallango, Sr. on February 7, 1959, in Smock, PA.

In addition to her husband, Anthony; Marion is survived by her sons, Mark (Carol Flatley), Eugene, and Tony (Cindy) Vallango; grandchildren, Venessa Perzigian and Amber and Anthony Vallango; great-grandchildren, Dayja, Clayton, Kaleb, Sumer, Isaac, and Sadie; and niece, Elaine (Keith) Buckley.

In addition to her parents, Marion was preceded in death by her siblings, Emery Stanzel and Elaine Salava.

The visitation will be 3-8 p.m., Tuesday, June 14, at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.  There will also be visitation at the funeral home Wednesday, June 15, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of prayers at 10 a.m., with a procession to St. Peter's Church of Spring Grove, 2118 Main St., Spring Grove, for a 10:30 a.m., Mass of the Resurrection.  The burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
