Marion Joan Greenwald, a long time resident of Lake Villa, passed away on December 22, 2013. She was born on August 17, 1930 in Oak Park, IL to Fred "Red" and Catherine (nee Richling) Schulze.

Marion was an avid gardener who also enjoyed cooking, most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Marion will be deeply missed by her dear children, Ted (Bing) Greenwald, Kathy McCann and Cindy (Ray) Parke;  grandchildren, Denise Greenwald, Stacie (Jason) Brault, Matt (Sara Limbaugh) Greenwald, Tyler Greenwald, Lacie McCann, Leia and Arron Schultz.; great-grandchildren, Austin, Kylie, Shay, Annabelle, Myka, Liam, Shyann and Aria; her siblings, Elaine Zenker, Darlene Bachechi, Gary (Jolie) Schulze. Many dear nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Theodore Greenwald; her siblings, Betty Deutscher and Dick Carlson, her step-mother, Millie (nee Ellingsen) Schulze and by her parents.

Memorial visitation will be held on Fri., January 10,  from 10 a.m. until the 12 Noon Memorial service. Inurnment will follow at Ft. Sheridan Cemetery, Highland Park.
