Marie A. Landerman, a long time resident of Fox Lake, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2013. She was born on September 16, 1917 in Chicago to Peter and Anna (nee Denuel) Arndt. In 1987 her loving husband of 56 years, Joseph Landerman, passed away.
Marie loved to play Bingo and will be deeply missed by her dear children, Marge Simmons of Fox Lake and Anthony (Theresa) Landerman of Palatine; her 5 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her siblings and her parents.
Visitation will be held Monday, September 30, from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the K. K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd. Fox Lake. Committal service and interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery, Niles. All are invited to meet at the cemetery office by 1 p.m.
