Marian Urbanski, a Fox Lake resident of 38 years, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2013. He was born on March 20, 1924 in Poland.
He was the proud owner and operator of Fox Lake Motel.
Marian will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 6 years, Krystyna (nee Widlak) Urbanski; his dear children, Leo (Sue) Urbanski and Jania (Joseoph) Penkala; his step-children, Martha Kozol and Christopher Widlak; his grandchildren, Gwen (Matt) Flaskamp, Nicholas (Cyndi) Urbanski and Joey Penkala; and his great-grandchildren, Ian, Sawyer, Emily and Dominick.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen Urbanski, united in marriage for 34 years, his siblings and by his parents.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 5, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and resume on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until the time of prayers at 9 a.m. at the K. K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd. Fox Lake. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. St. Bede Catholic Church, 36455 N. Wilson Rd., Ingleside, IL.
Interment will be at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles. Please meet at the cemetery office by 12:45 p.m.
