Margaret Gerretsen (nee Laage), 93, of Fox Lake, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016, at JourneyCare, Woodstock.

She was born November 28, 1922, in Chicago, to the late Carl and Anna  (nee Ruth) Laage.

Survivors include her children, Judith (Thomas) Marzullo, Laura Cunningham, and David (Dawn) Gerretsen; grandchildren, Linnea, David, James, Amanda, and Dylan; and great grandchildren, Louis and Isla.

In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Walter, in 2007.

The visitation will be Thursday, May 5, from 4 p.m. until the time of the prayer service at 8 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.  Inurnment will be private.
