Lyle "Grandpa" Rosendahl, 83, a longtime resident of Ingleside, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at Northwest Community Healthcare, Arlington Heights.  He was born December 22, 1937, in Westhope, ND, to the late Arthur and Minnie (nee Klokstad) Rosendahl.

Lyle will be deeply missed by his loving children, Rick (Suzanne) Rosendahl, Rob (Aracelly) Rosendahl, and Lenayn (Bob) Janusz; grandchildren, Stephen Kyle, Morgan Lynae (Roedon Tisdale), Michael John (Teri Jaeger), Michelle Sue (Will Sadural), Juliayn Marie, Joshua Lyle, Leslie Angelina, Alexander Joseph, and Thomas Lyle; and great-grandchildren, Michael William, Jayden Robert, Katalyna Nevaeh, Maesi Grace, Noah Matthew, Kennedy Marie, Brianna Nevah, Trevon Vincent, Davon Douglas, and Kaevon Daniel.

Lyle was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marie Helen (nee Sanders), on December 19, 2011; grandson, Ricky; and brother, Duane (Dora Mae) Rosendahl.

A private service will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
